At what age did you start writing?

I don’t remember at what age exactly I started writing. It all began from my school days which later on became my passion.

Name a few authors/ books that you personally admire the most (Fiction/Non-Fiction). If you’d ever get to meet these authors, what is the one question that you’d ask them?

I actually love reading books of Cecelia Ahern and Khaled Hosseini. The last book I read was ‘And the mountains echoed’ by Khaled Hosseini and the story remained in my mind for quite a long time. The question I would like to ask if I ever get a chance to meet them is which character in the book is the one they would like to see in real life? (and I would probably compare if it matches with mine)

One Superpower you wish you had?

I wish I had the power to travel back and forth in time so that I could fix life the way I want to live.

What would be your one advice to aspiring writers?

If you have the passion to write, bring it out. Everyone can be a writer but only a few of them can connect it to the mass. So, don’t be afraid of failure, learn from them.

Do you have a writing ritual?

No, I usually don’t have a writing ritual. I write whenever I have something in my mind and that’s how it is.

How did ” Escape and Fly ” come to life? What/Who was your muse behind writing this book?

Escape and Fly is a book which made me think how dynamic life is. I found peace while writing this book and the muse behind writing this book is ‘life’.

If there’s one thing that most of the self-published authors vouch for, it’s the mere fact that self- publishing teaches you all aspects of publishing? Is it true? What are your thoughts about the same?

I won’t say vouch but yes it teaches a lot. Right from the beginning, from the scratch till the end. Self-publishing my book taught me things I had no clue about before.

What was your journey of writing your first book like? How did you feel when your book was released?

I still remember that feeling. The happiness of getting your first book published is something you’ll never forget. I got my first book published at the age of 19 and it was a novel ‘Down The Lane Of Memories’. I had no idea back then about publishing but you know while you go through the phase you learn and that is how I became familiar with the literary world.

If you look back now, how has the whole experience of self-publishing been?

It has been a great experience. I’ve learnt a lot and I am glad to be a part of it.

I’ve lived mine. Go and live yours.
