Around the Evening Fire is a collection of simple short stories arising out of the author’s own experience, imagination and unbelievable happenings that one normally encounters. The stories like the encounter with a tiger, the evidence by a spirit, the dilemma of a fortune teller, a strange game of cricket and the view on life, of a man who knows death is waiting around the corner are themed in an Indian backdrop and are humble events that we bump into as life moves on.
